Pediatric Occupational Therapist
Full time
This position will be responsible for managing the entire client experience from initial evaluation to implementation of treatment to family education to discharge. No two children are the same and therapists will need to use their expertise and creativity to connect with their clients, implementing a variety of approaches to find the “just right” therapeutic fit for your clients. Our therapy style is primary play-based in a one-on-one setting however, co-treatment and group therapy is not uncommon. Therapists will need to be a quick learner, capable of juggling multiple tasks and responsibilities at one time while providing high-touch service to clients, families and caregivers. Applicants should have 2+ years of experience, a Kansas OT License, and a master degree in occupational therapy from an accredited university.
Availability
The ideal candidate will have availability to work 5 days a week, with 3 days of extended availability (~8/9 AM to 6 PM). The position will be responsible for a range of 25-35 billable hours per week. The position will start with part time hours (10-15 hours/week) and build into a full time position (25-35 hours/week) over the course of the first few months of employment.
