Katie Lacy OTD

Pediatric and Adolescent Occupational Therapist

Katie earned her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from the University of Kansas Medical Center and holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Gerontology with a minor in Business from Kansas State University. Her clinical experience includes early childhood, school-based, and outpatient settings, where she has supported children with a range of developmental, sensory, and emotional needs. She is especially passionate about helping young children navigate challenges related to trauma, regulation, and motor skill development through a compassionate, strengths-based lens.

Katie brings clinical excellence, a calming presence, and a heartfelt commitment to supporting each child’s growth. She uses individualized, play-based strategies to foster confidence and independence in ways that are meaningful to the child and family. Her approach is grounded in building strong connections, promoting emotional safety, and empowering children within their daily routines.

Outside of work, Katie enjoys spending time with family and friends, being outdoors, and exploring creative hobbies.
