Ashlyn received her Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from the University of Kansas Medical Center and her Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a minor in Child Development from the University of Arkansas. Ashlyn has experience working in a variety of settings including autism diagnostic clinics, hospitals, and pediatric rehabilitation centers. She has had the opportunity to work with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders, developmental delays, traumatic brain injury, motor speech disorders, and those who use augmentative and alternative communication devices. During her education, Ashlyn conducted research looking at language development in infants and toddlers and received training in Childhood Apraxia of Speech.
Ashlyn is passionate about providing engaging, individualized therapy that builds on the child’s strengths and leads to outcomes that are functional and meaningful for the family.
