Brooke is a Northwest Kansas native and graduated from Fort Hays State University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and minor in Psychology. Brooke moved to Kansas City to obtain her Master of Occupational Therapy degree from the University of Kansas Medical Center. Her clinical experiences consisted of multiple different pediatric settings, including Infant Toddler Services, Children’s Mercy Hospital, and rural school systems. Brooke completed the Advanced Level I Mentorship in evaluating and treating children with Sensory Processing Disorder at the STAR Institute in Denver, Colorado. She also completed the Autism Specialist Training through KCART (Kansas Center for Autism Research and Training) and has specialized training in feeding therapy through the SOS Approach to Feeding. Brooke makes it her mission to meet children where they are and expand upon their strengths in fun and creative ways! She enjoys developing relationships with not only the child, but the whole family in order to maximize carryover.
Brooke is also a photographer and loves being able to use her OT lens to capture kiddos and therapists in a playful and candid way.
