Chloe grew up in Belleville, Illinois before moving to Columbia, Missouri. While in Columbia, she attended the University of Missouri where she earned her Master’s Degree of Occupational Therapy. After receiving her degree, Chloe moved to Kansas City. Chloe joined the Playabilities team in 2019 and held the position as Senior Therapist for the Prairie Village clinic until she was promoted to the Prairie Village Clinical Manager position in 2023.
Chloe has experience in multiple settings including outpatient pediatric intervention, school-based intervention, acute care, and inpatient rehab. Chloe is passionate about using a holistic, child-led approach that empowers kids to reach their goals and have fun! Chloe enjoys using a transdisciplinary approach with all of her clients, encouraging communication between providers, parents, and kids to ensure success for the client in all aspects of life.
Chloe has specialized training in using a play-based, child-led approach to therapy and has completed her first ICDL-DIR Floortime Course. She also has specialized education on behavior management and therapeutic feeding approaches. Chloe is passionate about individualizing treatment for each child to make it meaningful, motivating, and fun! She believes parents are an essential member of the therapy team and loves providing strategies to empower parents in helping their kids.
In her free time, Chloe enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants in KC, reading, going on walks, and creating pieces of art for her family and friends!
