Christina completed her bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Kansas State University and received her Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from the University of Kansas School of Health Professions. While in graduate school, she completed 2 years of research focused on early language development and early literacy programs with The Baby Lab at the University of Kansas Medical Center. Christina is passionate about early literacy, play-based therapy, collaborating with families to meet their individual needs, and working with other disciplines to provide a holistic therapy experience.
She has experience working in elementary schools, hospitals, and in early intervention models. Christina enjoys working with a wide variety of clientele, including children with developmental delays, children with language delays and disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorders, ADD/ADHD, articulation and phonological disorders, social communication deficits, cleft lip and palate, and augmentative and alternative communication devices.
In her free time, Christina enjoys quality time with family, including her new baby girl, hiking, playing volleyball, and losing to her husband in tennis :).
