Delaney is a Wichita native who received her Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology and her Bachelor’s degree in Speech Language and Hearing with a minor in Applied Behavioral Sciences from the University of Kansas. During her education, Delaney completed the Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (LEND) program which is a year-long traineeship at the University of Kansas Medical Center focusing on interdisciplinary, family-centered care. She has experience in a variety of settings including elementary schools, hospitals, and outpatient clinics. During those experiences, Delaney has been able to work with a variety of individuals including those with Autism Spectrum Disorders, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, speech and language delays, cleft lip and palate, neurodegenerative diseases and those who use augmentative alternative communication. She has completed additional continuing education in the areas of Childhood Apraxia of Speech and phonological/articulation disorders.
