Taylor earned her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from the University of Kansas Medical Center and her Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences, with a secondary major in Integrated Health Studies, from Kansas State University. During her doctoral studies, she completed her capstone at Children’s Mercy Hospital in oncology and hematology, focusing on rehabilitation and health literacy for patients and their families. This experience helped shape her approach to occupational therapy, emphasizing individualized care, meaningful engagement, and family-centered support.
Taylor is passionate about meeting children where they are and making therapy feel like play. Through personalized, play-based interventions, she helps children build independence, achieve developmental milestones, and gain confidence in their daily routines. She values collaboration with families and is dedicated to supporting each child’s growth, confidence, and success in everyday activities.
Outside of work, Taylor enjoys hosting friends, exploring local antique shops for unique treasures, attending live concerts, practicing yoga, and relaxing with needlepoint projects.
