All of our treating therapists are licensed and registered occupational, speech, and physical therapists. Each therapist has at least a master’s or doctoral degree or equivalent in their specialty area.
Furthermore, Playabilities supports each therapist’s professional growth throughout their time here. We provide scholarships for additional certification and enable therapists to stay up on the latest advancements in their fields. Each one of us believes in finding innovative, creative solutions—and Playabilities gives each therapist the resources to do so.
If your child is on an IEP, the school district may provide transportation to the clinic for physical, speech, and occupational therapy in Kansas City. Your therapy team can help determine if this might be an option for your family.
We never want finances to be a barrier to accessing therapy services for your child. We allow families to opt into one of a few payment plans and have partnered with Advanced Care to support families needing access to a medical-specific credit card. This helps families finance intensive therapy services out-of-pocket. Additionally, we accept most insurance providers. Learn more about financing therapy at Playabilities at our Insurance and Billing page.
We tailor our intervention services to each child’s unique, individual needs. Treatment plans vary from 1 hour per week to 20 hours per week. Your therapy team will work with you to set up an intensive therapy plan based on your child’s individual needs.
