Pediatric and Adolescent Occupational Therapist-PRN
Katy earned her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from the University of Kansas and her Master of Occupational Therapy degree from the University of Kansas Medical Center. Since beginning her career in 2021, she has specialized in pediatric care, supporting children and families across a variety of settings including public and private schools, preschools, virtual learning environments, private outpatient clinics, and through telehealth.
Katy is trained in the Get Permission Approach, which promotes positive mealtime experiences, and in DIR Floortime 101, which emphasizes relationships and human connection to support therapy goals—particularly those related to self-regulation and engagement. She has experience working with children ages 2 to 18 with a wide range of diagnoses and is especially passionate about empowering parents through education and strategies that promote carryover at home and school for the best therapy outcomes.
