I was given the flexibility to grow as a therapist while also being present for my family, which is something I’ll always be grateful for. What sets Playabilities apart is its commitment to truly client-specific care. I was challenged to move beyond a standard model and make recommendations based on each child and family, and seeing those outcomes changed how I practice and what I believe is possible. Even more meaningful, after seeing that impact firsthand, my own family chose Playabilities for our children’s therapy.

Compared to my previous experiences in a variety of physical therapy settings during my rotations, Playabilities stands out for its collaborative, “village” approach to care. Every therapist brings a unique perspective, and we actively support one another to create the best outcomes for each child. That level of teamwork, combined with an environment that values both excellence and joy, is something I haven’t seen anywhere else. My favorite part is getting to be creative and meet each child exactly where they are, turning therapy into something they (hopefully) look forward to. The team’s energy and willingness to work together make it easy to grow as a new clinician while feeling supported. Watching kids gain confidence and independence, and knowing I’m part of their journey, is the most rewarding aspect of my role.
