Aleks Keeling OTD

Pediatric and Adolescent Occupational Therapist

Aleks earned her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from the University of Kansas Medical Center and her Bachelor of Science in Cognitive and Behavioral Neuroscience and Psychology from Loyola University Chicago. She brings experience across pediatric outpatient, inpatient rehabilitation, and pediatric neurorehabilitation settings, working with individuals across the lifespan. Through her clinical rotations, Aleks has supported children with a variety of needs including developmental delays, sensory processing differences, and challenges with independence in daily activities. She has experience administering standardized assessments and delivering child-led, evidence-based interventions in interdisciplinary settings.

Aleks has also built a strong foundation working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities through roles as a Registered Behavior Technician and Direct Support Professional, where she supported skill development, behavior regulation, and daily living activities while collaborating closely with families and care teams. Aleks is passionate about child-led, neuro-affirming, and client-centered care. She values collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and is dedicated to supporting each child’s independence, confidence, and meaningful participation in daily life.
