Allie earned her Master of Occupational Therapy degree from the University of Missouri and has specialized in pediatrics since starting her career in 2013. Allie has previous experience working as an OT in the school system and enjoys helping families advocate for support and services in the school. Allie has experience working with all age ranges and a variety of developmental disabilities.
She specializes in working with children with visual and fine motor delays, feeding difficulties, sensory processing disorders, behavior difficulties, handwriting concerns, and delays with play and social-emotional skills. Allie has specialized training in feeding therapy through the SOS Approach to Feeding. She has also completed continuing education in the area of ODD, Autism, Down Syndrome, and Sensory Processing Disorder. Allie emphasizes treating the ‘whole child’ during therapy sessions and building on a child’s strengths and interests to increase their independence and function within meaningful daily activities.
