Andrea earned her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Fort Hays State University and recently completed a Master of Education in Social-Emotional Learning, Mindfulness, and Yoga from Woolf University. She brings extensive experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist across school-based and outpatient settings, supporting children with a wide range of communication needs.
Throughout her career, Andrea has worked in special education cooperatives and clinical settings, providing speech-language services and assistive technology support. She has significant experience with AAC, social communication, and supporting students with autism and complex communication needs, while collaborating closely with interdisciplinary teams, educators, and families. Andrea has also served as a clinical supervisor and experienced trainer, contributing to the development of future clinicians and supporting team growth through education and mentorship.
Her background includes extensive training in social-emotional learning, as well as experience implementing Universal Design for Learning and co-teaching models to support inclusive care. Andrea is passionate about patient-centered, neuro-affirming care and values building strong relationships with children and families. She is dedicated to supporting each child’s communication, confidence, and meaningful participation in daily life.
