Claire Sybesma DPT

Pediatric and Adolescent Physical Therapist

Claire earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Des Moines University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences with a minor in Health from Bradley University. She has experience in both outpatient and hospital settings, working with children from birth through adolescence. Claire has supported children with a wide range of needs, including gross motor delays, torticollis, toe walking, post-surgical recovery, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and various genetic conditions.

Claire specializes in play-based, child-led therapy that supports developmental milestones, independence, and functional mobility. She brings clinical expertise, creativity, and a compassionate approach to each session, focusing on helping every child reach their fullest potential in a fun and engaging way. Claire is thrilled to be part of the Playabilities team and looks forward to partnering with families to support each child’s unique therapy journey.

In addition to her clinical work, Claire has experience mentoring doctoral students and co-founded an adaptive gymnastics program to make movement more accessible and inclusive for all children.
