Elaina Schnarr OTD

Pediatric and Adolescent Occupational Therapist

Elaina earned her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy and her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Rockhurst University. Her background includes a wide range of clinical experiences in pediatric, school-based, rehabilitation, community mental health, and acute care settings. Elaina has supported preschool through elementary-aged children in building fine motor skills, sensory and emotional regulation, visual–motor integration, and classroom participation through play-based, strengths-focused occupational therapy. She also has experience supporting adolescents and adults in rehabilitation and community settings to promote functional independence and engagement in daily activities.

Elaina brings strong clinical skills, creativity, and a calm, relationship-based approach to her sessions. She is passionate about supporting each child’s unique strengths and believes in using meaningful, developmentally appropriate activities to promote regulation, confidence, and participation across routines and environments. Her experience collaborating with educators, behavior analysts, and interdisciplinary teams allows her to design therapy sessions that are both purposeful and engaging for children.
