Rachel Richards OTD

Pediatric and Adolescent Occupational Therapist

Rachel earned her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Rockhurst University and her Bachelor of Science in Public Health from the University of Arkansas. Her background includes clinical experiences across pediatric, inpatient rehabilitation, community mental health, and acute care settings. Rachel’s pediatric experience includes supporting children through play-based, developmentally appropriate occupational therapy focused on participation, regulation, and skill development. Her additional fieldwork experiences in inpatient rehabilitation and community mental health helped build a strong foundation in functional independence, collaboration, and client-centered care across the lifespan.

Rachel brings a warm, thoughtful approach to her sessions and is passionate about supporting children and families through meaningful, strengths-based therapy. She values collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and is excited to continue growing her clinical skills while making a positive impact within a supportive, team-oriented environment.
