Taylor earned her Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Missouri. Taylor holds her OT license in Kansas and Missouri and has previously worked across multiple settings, including school-based practice (serving elementary-aged students) and inpatient rehabilitation (serving young, middle-aged, and older adults). Her expertise includes sensory processing, crisis prevention and intervention, emotional and self regulation, trauma informed care, and motor skill development.
During her graduate studies, Taylor gained experience adapting ride-on toy cars through GoBabyGo to create alternative forms of early childhood power mobility, teaching sensory-friendly swimming lessons to children with autism, and implementing behavior therapy. Taylor loves providing neuro-affirming care to children and families to help them reach their full potential. She comes up with unique and fun ways to help children participate in various activities to build upon their skills and maximize their strengths.
